Project 2: Case Study – Renovation Work to an R.C Structure
PART 1: GROUP COMPONENT
Project 2, renovation work to an R.C structure is project of a sideway extension towards the chosen building structure. The project consists of group and individual components are about analyzing the beams and columns found in an existing R.C structure. Our group, consists of 8 members had produced a set of measured drawings along with visuals to aid our work in this project. Thus, individual proposals are produced to introduce our understanding in beam analysis as well as, shear force and bending moment.

For
Project 2 of Building Structure, I was given a task to study the existing
structure as well as propose an extension project to be carried out as a case
study. The chosen existing structure is a bungalow located in Jalan U-Thant,
Kuala Lumpur of 2-storeys.
